Veterinary Clinic

Good health is important for everyone in the family--including those with fur and four legs. Let the Tyndall Vet Clinic help your dog, cat, hamster, gerbil, or other domestic pet live a long, fit life. Take a look at the services offered and make that important appointment for your pet today.

Keep your pet healthy with preventative measures. The vet clinic sells heartworm and deworming medicines. Rabies shots can also be scheduled. Please note that to receive medications, the animal must have been seen at the clinic within the past 12 months.

The clinic also sells

  • Shampoo
  • Vitamins
  • Flea Treatments
  • Hair Ball Medicine

Spaying/neutering surgery is available each month on a limited basis. Please call for an appointment.

The vet clinic can treat your pet for minor medical problems such as skin infections, tick bites or lump biopsies. In an emergency, please call the vet clinic before bringing the animal to the facility. This can save valuable time if the pet needs to be seen by an off-base veterinarian.

The Vet Clinic offers the HomeAgain microchip identification system for pets. The system consists of the scannable, implanted nontoxic microchip and enrollment in the American Kennel Club's Companion Animal Recovery database. With microchip identification, a pet that is lost can be shown the way home. The case for having your pet implanted with a microchip is a strong one, as the statistics show that microchipping is the best, most reliable method of permanently identifying your pet.

The vet clinic provides care to all the military working dogs on base.

Living on base? All pets belonging to anyone living in base housing must be registered at the vet clinic. This regulation applies even if an animal is routinely seen by an off-base veterinarian. In addition, an annual exam by the base veterinarian is required. This exam is free. Proof of current vaccinations must also be provided to the vet clinic for all base pets.

Stop by the vet clinic before you make that overseas move. The clinic can help you determine what the requirements will be for moving your pet to another country. Come in early--the clinic recommends allowing at least six months to get all of the paperwork in order.

Please call for an appointment. And remember--any animal brought into the vet clinic must be either on a leash or in a carrier!
