The Tyndall Community Library provides complete library service to active-duty military, retirees, DOD civilians, and their families. Whether it is professional, educational, or leisure resources, the library and its experienced staff can meet your needs.

Childrens Programs

Kids love libraries and the Tyndall Library loves kids. Be sure to stop by and inquire about our great kid programs, such as super fun and active summer fun programs your kiddos will find adventures at the library.

The Tyndall Library also has copies of the accelerated reading lists from several area elementary and middle schools to assist parents and their children with this public school program.

Audiobooks, DVD's, and CD's

Catch up on best-sellers and popular CD Audiobooks. A lease program allows the library to regularly acquire current fiction and nonfiction. Give your input into what is ordered next.

Every library has books, but don’t forget about checking out how-to and entertainment videos or DVD’s. Enjoy the latest in music CD’s and popular new magazine issues. Use the interlibrary loan service to obtain material beyond the library’s collection.

Educational Materials

From preschool to Ph.D. as well as Professional Military Education material, visit the library to find the educational resources you need. Resources for parents who home school are a high priority and parents are encouraged to work with the staff to help select materials. Catch up on best-sellers and popular CD Audiobooks. The library maintains the latest study guides, such as the ACT and SAT, in both books and on CD. An extensive book collection of DANTES and CLEP materials covers a wide variety of subjects, many on video and CD.

Computer Lab

Visit the computer lab with its research databases, DSL internet access, and e-mail services. Take home CD-ROM programs in science, math, literature, languages, cooking, typing, and early childhood reading.
